POKER
How
To Play Poker:
Poker is a classic card game
which traditionally involves players betting and playing against
each other. It can just as easily take place in classy Casino
tournament rooms with pots of chips or across greasy kitchen tables
with fistfuls of dollars. In poker variations at this online Casino,
you will play as a single Player. All of our online poker games
are played with a standard 52-card deck. The highest ranking card
is the Ace, followed by the King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6,
5, 4, 3, and 2 in that order. The Ace can also be used as a 1
when it is needed to complete a 5-high straight consisting of
A, 2, 3, 4, 5. Five cards of the same suit comprise a flush, but
other than that, suits have no specific ranking.
Unlike Blackjack or Baccarat,
cards in a hand are not given a point value and then totaled to
determine the winner. Rather, each five-card hand is ranked according
to a hierarchy, with the order descending from an extremely rare
Royal Flush to a very ordinary pair of cards, or less.
Different poker variations
will offer pay-outs on specific card combinations such as deuces
(cards with a face value of 2), the number of Jacks, Aces, Face
Cards (Kings, Queens), or the number of pairs in the final hand.
Please refer to the Help files in specific Casino games for details
of individual poker variations.
The Poker
hands Below you will find the combinations which make up the standard
Poker hands. These variations will be used to calculate the winnings
of a player in the online Casino, and offer specific pay-outs
depending on the game being played and the number of coins placed
on certain hands. In addition to these standard hands are game-specific
hands such as Deuces (cards with a face value of 2), wild-cards
such as Jokers, or Aces which might stand in for any other card's
rank and suit to help you complete a winning hand.
